Where does numerology come from?

Numerology or arithmomancy originated 4000 years ago, most likely in Mesopotamia. In ancient times, it was presented as the science of numbers. It attributes a magical value to numbers, unlike arithmetic which instead takes into account only their quantitative value.

Is it a science?

Long controversial, numerology made a comeback in the 20th century. Modern numerologists think that there is a vibratory link between numbers and all the physical manifestations of our universe. However, scientists could not prove that there is any influence of numbers on fate or personality.

What is numerology today?

Numerology is neither a science nor an art of divination, but rather is proposed as a method of parapsychological investigation. It does not predict anything, but it helps to know each other better and to take control of one's own destiny, while maintaining free will; in practice it helps to exploit one's strengths to take full advantage of life.

How does it work?

Numerology uses the symbolic language of numbers. This language is considered universal and timeless. The principle is that every number, every date, every name can be represented with digits between 1 and 9, called numerological numbers. The words are somehow translated into the language of numerical symbols.

What is the method?

Dates or numbers are reduced by adding horizontally the digits that compose them, as many times as needed to obtain a single digit. This "residual" number has its own specific "vibration" that underlies the interpretation.

For example: the year 1987; 1987 = 1 + 9 + 8 + 7 = 25 = 2 + 5 = 7. The 1987 vibration is 7. The only exception to this system: the numbers 11 and 22. Called “master numbers”, they have a specific numerological meaning. Another exception is the 0, which is impossible to reduce.

And for the letters?

The same system is applied to letters. Each of them corresponds to the number of the place it occupies in the alphabet 1 for A, 2 for B, etc ... up to 9. Beyond, the numerological number is obtained by adding the tens and units. Example: J = 12 = 1 + 2 = 3. This system of correspondence between numbers and letters allows you to translate a name and a surname or any other word in encrypted language. It is sufficient to add the figures horizontally and reduce the sum obtained, until a unit between 1 and 9 is obtained.

For each number, its vibration

A particular vibration is associated with each numerological number. The 1 means the beginning, the masculine principle, action, authority. Second: the feminine principle, the yin, the receptive, union and sensitivity. 3rd: creation, the child in the couple, expression. The 4: the work, the limitations. The 5: freedom, change. 6: beauty, the search for balance. The 7: the mind, reflection, studies. The 8: material progress, construction and destruction, gains and losses. The 9: the end and a new beginning. On the 11th, strength and power. Wisdom on the 22nd.

With each vibration its message

Linked to the elements that make up your identity (your surname, your name and your date of birth) the numerological numbers outline the main lines of your psychological profile, indicate your strengths and weaknesses, and suggest the challenges that you will have to overcome in the course of your existence.Starting number, of motivation, interior, exterior, bonding, intimate ...: there are an infinite number of numbers that transmit messages, advice and warnings.

- The intimate number, for example, is obtained with the reduced addition of all the vowels of the name and surname. It represents the hidden side of your personality, of your innermost aspirations, your inner self.

What is your life path?

The most used number is the life path. It is your destiny. It represents the starting "fertile ground" on which you will "grow" during your life. It is obtained through the reduced addition of the date of birth: the day + the month + the year of birth. If you were born in 1 years, you have a leader's soul. In 2 years, you are devoted and possess artistic skills. In 3, you love contacts and take life with irony. In 4, you are a hard worker. At 5, you are restless. You appreciate change and freedom. In 6, you have a sense of responsibility. You are attracted by beauty and harmony. In 7, you are intuitive, original. Your inner life is very rich. Those born in the 8th are quite materialistic and show an overflowing energy. Those of the 9 are altruistic. Finally, in 11 you have a great strength of character and in 22 generally an out of the ordinary destiny.

Good or bad year?

The calculation of your personal year allows you to know the atmosphere of the current year and which stages you will have to face. Its calculation is made by reducing the day of birth + the month of birth + the current year. To find out if the year is good or bad, translate your girl's surname + your name (personality number) into numbers. If there is no number of your personal year inside, you are experiencing a "karmic" year. A test awaits you. But this test offers you the opportunity to make progress and become stronger. The interpretation of the message must be adapted according to your age. Can we interpret the numbers by themselves?

Their technique consists in associating the different elements of your numerology plan to help you see more clearly in yourself and make the right choice at the right time. Furthermore, it often happens that certain visionaries propose a "numerology" at the end of a session. This can allow you to confirm or refine a prediction.

The price depends on the number of questions asked to the numerologist. The calculation of a simple life path and its interpretation will cost you a few euros. A complete numerology in the studio or on the internet can reach 70 euros.
