When the hotel is gluten-free: 10 hotels with particular attention to gluten free

The National Celiac Week has recently been celebrated, a disorder that affects more and more people. In Italy, according to data from the Ministry of Health, there are about 600 thousand celiacs (2011 data), a very considerable number.

For those suffering from this disease, traveling can be problematic because hotels, restaurants and accommodation facilities are not always able to meet the needs of those who have to follow a diet gluten free.

Trivago, in collaboration with AIC (Italian Celiac Association), has drawn up a ranking that presents the 10 best Italian "gluten-free" hotels, all adhering to "Eating out", the project brings together 3800 accommodation facilities which, after following courses dedicated training courses and thanks to the continuous supervision of AIC, they are able to offer a safe food proposal in line with the needs of celiacs.
