Carolyn Smith in costume, after breast cancer, urges women to love each other and not be ashamed!

Radiant, proud and proud: this is the image that Carolyn Smith, one of the stoic sworn members of Dancing with the Stars, hands us over, in a period of rebirth that follows a very difficult one, which saw her fight against breast cancer, and come out victorious. In these days Smith appears on the cover of a well-known magazine in costume as a bathroom, proudly showing off her physique, after having undergone a partial mastectomy as a result of the tumor that struck her two years ago.

She is a woman in rebirth, bright and happy, the one we can see now, from which shines a positive force and able to infect all women. This is precisely the message that Carolyn wants to spread, especially to those who have come face to face with the disease and its consequences, and still struggle with a different physique and deep scars, not just physical. "I feel beautiful, but accepting myself like this was hard", says Smith, who continues: "After the operation I was lost. To women I say: cancer is still a taboo, but woe to you if you come to be ashamed of it". A clear message of hope that encourages women to find the strength to move forward, fight and accept themselves, and which intends to break down taboos that are still too present, sensitizing public opinion with her example.
