“Sex box”: new TV format on sex

Let's talk about "Sex Box", the new English format that debuted on the national broadcaster Channel 4 and in which three couples will have sex in a soundproof box without cameras and then talk about it immediately afterwards with three experts in couple relations: Phillip Hodson, psychotherapist who does not believe in the strict division between heterosexuals and homosexuals, Tracey Cox, expert in sex and body language and Dan Savage, journalist and author of the Savage Love column, translated into Italy by the weekly International.

The new program should represent a meeting point for couples who will be able to talk more frankly about the sex they had with their partner without the physical act being seen as a taboo to be ashamed of. And with the help of experts and external interventions they will also be able to solve any couple problems related to the most intimate sphere.

The idea behind it is borrowed from the research of sexologists William Masters and Virginia Johnson, who asked their subjects to talk about their sexual relations immediately after having them, in order to better remember their feelings and communicate more sincerely.
