Clown Contour: the new makeup trend that is becoming popular on the net

By now we are used to seeing faces, famous or not, transform under the skilled hands of a makeup artist who, thanks to the skilful use of cream and powder products, manages to transform some ugly duckling into a beautiful and fascinating swan. All this is known to most as contouring, a makeup technique that has always existed but that only in recent years has become a trend loved by stars and not.

Thanks to bronzer and highlighter it is thus possible to transform a chubby and not very outlined face into a sculpted face where shadows and plays of light alternate for a photo shoot makeup. Yet, this technique is not always understood by more than instead of seeing an "application to art and a wise use of chiaroscuro, as painters have been teaching for centuries, they find it a trivial way to hide and camouflage their characteristics, unleashing and thus unleashing against those who make makeup a real art.

From all this comes a protest that has been bouncing on social media for several weeks now: the #ClownContour. All thanks to the youtuber BellaDeLune who, tired of being called a clown, by those who cannot and do not want to understand this "art, launched this hashtag together with a video where the contouring technique is taken to extremes.

Bella has thus transformed the attacks against her into a "weapon to make people talk about her and all those girls, famous or not, who love to play and experiment with makeup without having to hide and show the world their crazy colored lipsticks. or smokey eyes with a thousand colors. Obviously the social world was not long in coming and the hashtag became a real catchphrase with photos and videos on Instagram, Twitter & co.
