Diabetes boom among children

Childhood diabetes is on the rise and it seems that this phenomenon is directly proportional to the growth of obesity cases among the youngest. The alarm is given by a study by the CDC in Atlanta, based on a large sample of children and young people under the age of 19. The data collected reflect a situation very similar to that found in Europe, including Italy.

We have about 15 thousand cases of childhood diabetes: a number that, according to experts, is likely to increase also due to poor eating habits, which are increasingly widespread. Habits that they could then regret for a lifetime.
