Swimsuit test: 80% of Italians fear it

We are now in the middle of summer and therefore, for many of us, the time of the costume test has arrived. A moment that has always been feared, but which is turning into a real anxiety-inducing state. European Panic Disorders (Eurodap), to which 900 people between the ages of 18 and 55 responded. Result? 80% are worried about the costume fitting, because they don't have a good relationship with their body and would like to lose weight.

"Summer is the best time of the year, but the results of our test show that Italians have a discomfort that tends to obscure the feeling of well-being that this period should give" - ​​says the psychotherapist Paola Vinciguerra, president of Eurodap - “We should instead use this season to improve the relationship of trust with ourselves, to prepare ourselves to face the autumn" loaded and combative ".
