Munch's Scream for sale
The picture is one of 4 versions painted by Edvard Munch, and has been owned until now by a Norwegian businessman named Petter Olsen, who inherited the painting from his father, a close friend of the painter.
This "Scream" is the only piece not belonging to a museum, therefore it represents an "excellent opportunity for millionaire collectors; precisely for this reason it is already thought that the figure of 80 million dollars will be exceeded.
This is just one of the record auctions that have taken place in recent months, not least that of the painting by Joan Mirò, sold for 26 million euros.
