How to decorate the house with amber

Amber is an energetic and intense shade, characterized by the ability to instill a sense of great welcome in those who decide to use it to furnish their home. Amber is one of the most suitable shades for decorating the kitchen, living room and sitting room. because it gives brightness and elegance to the rooms. In combination with white it becomes super chic, while if it is combined with other warm colors such as red and orange it takes on an ethnic character which is very suitable in the living area.

Many also use the amber color to paint the walls of their home: it is a strong choice that goes against balance with sober and not too elaborate furnishings. In this case, the material to be combined is certainly wood, which accentuates the warmth effect typical of this shade. In the bedroom, however, the yellow-orange should be used in small doses because, given the large amount of energy it manages to transmit, could disturb sleep. In the bedroom, in general, it is advisable to use more restful shades such as green, white or blue, however, nothing prevents you from daring with small hints of amber here and there.

Choosing to use amber paint on small portions of the wall can also be a good idea. This color, in fact, manages to give light even to a particularly dark environment. It is no coincidence that it is one of the most used solutions by home designers to give brightness to small and windowless rooms.

Many use it to furnish even small rooms such as the bathroom (in combination with metal or country-style furniture) or for the outdoors. The kitchen and the living room are, in general, the environments where this color finds its greatest use precisely by virtue of the chromatic intensity that characterizes it. In fact, it is enough to paint a wall in this color to immediately notice the difference in terms of light; amber, then, is also very much combined with white or light gray because it manages to warm these colors and make them more vibrant.

Although amber is one of the easiest colors to combine, there are some hues that make this color famous for the homonymous stone, a little too intense. Its opposite is, for example, light green: matching this color to an amber painted wall can be a bit excessive.
