Ugo Tognazzi's wines

This is how the son, Gianmarco Tognazzi, decides to take back the tradition of his father, which still continues today following the philosophy of remaining a "niche company, which produces refined and selected wines and puts" made in Italy "in the foreground. ". The Tognazza Amata, so called, begins the business adventure with two types of wine, a red and a white in honor of Ugo Tognazzi, who used to propose them for his dinners.

The white, a VelletriSupresteDOP, called Tapioco, is rich on the nose with fruity aromas, spiced with vanilla and with a slight hint of citrus, while on the palate it is rich, persuasive, with the right taste-aromatic persistence. It is suitable for aperitifs, to be combined with shellfish in sauce, risotto and first courses based on fish or vegetables, but also with white and red meats that are not too elaborate.

The red, on the other hand, a Syrah called Antani, has a bright bright red color, characterized by a fresh, intense aroma, in which cherry, strawberry, raspberry, plum and violet are caught, followed by a hint of black pepper and vanilla. A full-bodied and decisive wine with an intense aftertaste, particularly suitable when paired with white and red meats, sausages and aged and semi-aged cheeses.

Tognazza Amata also produces an extra virgin olive oil with a balanced and pleasant flavor, obtained from the cold pressing of the olives harvested on the estate.
The labels of all the products have been taken from the first ones, designed by hand by Ugo Tognazzi, in honor of a great person who, in addition to the passion for cinema and theater, also had that of good food.
