Coloring shampoo: how to use it

Simple to use, the coloring shampoo can easily be done at home, not without some small tricks. Wear old or otherwise discarded clothes and protective gloves, because the substances contained in the product can still stain.
The coloring shampoo must also always be rinsed, whether it is applied to wet or dry hair. However, on sale you will find practical kits with all the detailed instructions and installation times to be respected.
The application must start from the ends of the hair, or from the root to the ends. Massage the scalp, just like when you are applying a normal shampoo, let it act and rinse thoroughly to remove all traces of shampoo. After this step you can proceed with the use of normal shampoo and conditioner as usual.

Color Shampoo: Not all are the same

As we said the coloring shampoo does not contain ammonia or peroxide, this does not mean that it has no chemical components. The coloring products, although delicate as in the case of shampoos, contain chemicals that react directly on the hair.

This is why when buying a coloring shampoo it is good to pay attention to the type of ingredients present and specifically it is good to avoid: sulfur, selenium sulphide, ammonium xylene sulfonate, magnesium sulfate, sodium thiosulfate, Olefin sodium sulfonate C14-16 and TEA-dodecylbenzene.

In any case, choose products of excellent quality, possibly also having advice from your trusted hairdresser; also it would be good to avoid going to swimming pools rich in chlorinated, or do it with suitable latex caps, and not to use products such as sprays and lotions containing alcohol.
Given its not entirely natural basic ingredients, it is recommended to avoid its use in case of pregnancy or skin diseases.
