The caress for schools: the Scottex initiative in support of Italian schools
Scottex®, after the great success of the past years, continues in 2014 with “The caress for schools”, a charity activity aimed at schools throughout Italy. The initiative, which since 2012 has donated 300,000 rolls of toilet paper to 180 Italian schools, will also donate 100,000 rolls to Italian schools this year, which due to major economic cuts are unable to guarantee the supply of toilet paper to their own students.
Thanks to the partnership with Save the Children, an international organization that has been fighting to save the lives of children and defend their rights since 1919, Scottex will support some "Points of Light" scattered throughout our country. The "Points of Light" are spaces created to offer opportunities and hope to children who live in areas where poverty and social hardship are more present.

The children of some schools, selected in the cities where these educational spaces are present, will create their own smiling self-portrait and symbolically donate it, as a sign of solidarity, to another child. For each drawing, Scottex® will donate a certain number of rolls together with the cash equivalent for the purchase of notebooks, diaries, pens and colors.
To help schools obtain Scottex® rolls, simply connect to the website www.momentoscottex.it and indicate the institution to which the rolls are to be sent. The 60 that will receive the most reports will receive the supply from the company.
The donation to Save the Children and the rolls to the 60 winning schools will take place on the occasion of the National Carezza Day, scheduled for 18 November,
