These pictures of little Sam and his adoptive family will show you how unconditional love for a child is

Kate T. Parker, an American photographer, became an aunt in February 2014, when little Sam was adopted at birth by her sister and husband. An event as special as adoption, made of unnerving expectations and bursts of happiness when the baby arrives, deserved to be documented in an equally special way, and so Kate decided to do what she knows best: photographs.

In fact, he took photos of Sam throughout his first year of life, from his arrival until today, showing moments of family intimacy with his new parents or grandparents, and making it clear once and for all, without words, how love is unconditional, and identical, for natural or adopted children.

Blended, this is the title of the project, "it shows how much love and tenderness there is in our family", says Kate, "and the lucky one is not only little Sam, but we are too". "He's the happiest, most beautiful baby I've ever seen," he continues, "and I just can't stop taking pictures of him!"

"Sam is very affectionate", says his grandfather, "he likes it when you caress his back to let him know that everything is okay, and when it happens he reaches out to be kissed".
