Happy birthday, Revlon!

Revlon was born in Manhattan in 1932 from an idea of the young and enterprising Charles and Joseph Revson, together with the chemist CharlesLachman (the L of Revlon) who decided to launch a line of colored glazes, certain that they would have had an excellent response from the female public .

It is in fact a historical period characterized by gray and all its shades: these are the years of the Depression and at the time the only enamel on the market is a transparent varnish of only three shades: light, medium and dark.

The great intuition of the three young people stems from a simple desire: to bring color, even if only symbolically, to American women. This is how the first Revlon glazes were born, with a range of colors such as pink, coral and, of course, red, destined to become the iconic color of the brand.

After 80 years, Revlon's female staff has decided to publish a calendar to celebrate the company, choosing red as the main theme.

Fifteen women, who have worked in Revlon for many years now, dressed in clothes (rossi, ça va sans dire) designed by RenatoBalestra, to celebrate Revlon's birthday in an original and fun way.

A company that has always focused on creative ideas, out of the chorus and that wants to give importance to all the women who do not have the spotlight on them, but who contribute day after day to the success of the brand.
