Operation False Myths: how to recognize and unmask the hoaxes on the net
To answer the many questions and reflect on issues that are increasingly important to consumers, we decided to take part in the initiative of AIDEPI: Operation false myths. The project promoted addresses the issue of food "hoaxes" and their rampant diffusion. online, which involves not only the dessert industry but the entire food sector. With the help of special ambassadors, 5 top bloggers with high engagement skills on the web and on the main social networks - Manuela Cervetti of Mamme Acrobate, Barbara Motolese of Parents Channel, Serena Sabella of Bismama, Carla Medda of La Torre di Cotone and Silvio Petta of Superpapà - we went in search of the main food buffaloes on the web. To support the operation a complete team of specialists, made up of doctors, nutritionists and nutrition experts: food technologist Franco Antoniazzi, nutritionist and biologist Valeria Del Balzo, Michelangelo Giampietro, surgeon, specialist in sc ience of nutrition and sports medicine, and the gastroenterologist and nutritionist Luca Piretta.
The initiative saw its climax yesterday, Wednesday 30 September, at Expo. Together with the 5 top bloggers, AIDEPI and Dr. Piretta we invited 20 users to take part in the event to talk about health and well-being but above all to learn to recognize and unmask the false myths circulating on the net.
