Do you dream of becoming a jewelry designer? NABA in Milan offers scholarships: take part in the competition to get it!

From next 21 October NABA - New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan will inaugurate a new course of study: Jewelery design. The course was born as a continuation of a high quality didactic activity that NABA has been carrying out for years, in an attempt to train high professionals in the world of visual arts and fashion.

The Jewelery Design course will be structured in three cycles lasting three months each, with weekly lessons, workshops, laboratory hours and meetings with important personalities in the sector. The intent is precisely to train anyone who wants to become a jewelery designer and start a career, also thanks to the offer of four scholarships that will cover 50% of the enrollment fees.

How will the scholarships be awarded? Through a competition, Body & Jewels, addressed to all creatives of the jewel, who will have to decorate one or more parts of the body according to the chosen theme. Each candidate must send a project consisting of three works: an initial iconographic research, the sketches and the definitive projects that best express their idea of ​​body decoration through jewels.

The works are to be sent by next 29 August to the email [email protected] or by post to NABA - New Academy of Fine Arts Milan, Certificate Programs - Via Darwin 20, Milan. They will be evaluated by a jury composed of the director of the course, Fabio Cammarata, Gioviano Sgarlata, jewelry designer, and Giusi Ferré, journalist fashion of the Corriere della Sera.
