Lose weight for a beauty pageant: Miss England returns the crown
Zoiey Smale is 28 years old and has walked the catwalk since she was 18. In 2017 she was elected Miss England, a title that would have allowed her to participate in Miss United Continents, a competition whose final this year takes place in Ecuador.
We can already imagine the Misses intent on the "latest" beauty treatments ...
There would be no problem if the organizers of the contest in question had not said that Zoiey is too fat to take part in the event, the same criticisms that a year ago were leveled at Gigi Hadid. With 180cm of height, 70 kg of weight and a size 38, the Smale is considered overweight and therefore unpresentable.
This was communicated to her in July and the model wanted to take her time because her outburst could really cost her her career. The girl decided to return the crown and leave the competition. She wanted to warn those who like her work daily with their bodies and are still not aware of where human madness can go, the one that asks you to lose as much as possible, to leave yourself behind until you don't remember who you are.
