Lvmh and the luxury pastry shop

In recent days it seemed that the company Cova Montenapoleone srl had been majority acquired by Prada, a rumor denied by a note in an official press release.

Although neither the share held by LVMH nor the amount of the investment is indicated, the press release communicates that the transaction "the twofold objective of preserving this veritable institution of Milanese history, keeping the pastry shop in Via Montenapoleone in its current spaces, and of strongly supporting its development at an international level, thanks to the synergies made available by the LVMH group".

The Faccioli family, owner of the restaurant, will however continue to be present both as corporate capital and as managerial management. The union will probably lead to the expansion of the franchises, already present internationally in Hong Kong, China and Japan.
