The Beverly Hills cast reunited to cheer Shannen Doherty on her fight against breast cancer
On the occasion of the RewindCon convention, held a few days ago in Illinois, the cast of Beverly Hills 90210, the legendary TV series that marked the nineties, took the opportunity to address a special message to colleague Shannen Doherty, absent due to the fight against breast cancer that has been keeping her busy in recent months.
The historian Brenda of the cult series was in fact remembered by former colleagues who have addressed messages full of affection in this difficult and delicate moment, in particular the closest friends of the time, Jennie Garth and Luke Perry, protagonists of one of the most compelling love triangles and exciting in the history of television and beyond.
"None of us would be here today if Shannen weren't there. Her contribution made this show successful. She taught me a lot. I'm glad she was my partner on the show. She was really great.", these are the words of the beloved Dylan McKay, responsible for the massacres of virtual hearts in the entire universe in those glorious nineties, who thus demonstrated the great affection that binds him to his historic colleague, debunking urban myths and legends about stories of enmity and tense relationships with Doherty, who has always been painted like an unmanageable and hardly conciliatory personality.
Even Kelly - Jennie Garth, Doherty's legendary rival and "best friend forever" on screen as in life, wanted to say words full of affection for the actress, showing her closeness in this delicate moment of private life: To my soul sister, to the strongest woman I have ever known.
