A 2018 without bridges: the less fortunate year arrives

Are you ready to start with an amazing new year and have you already decided what to do on New Year's Eve? Well, first of all, lucky you! Unfortunately you will be less enthusiastic when you read the red days of the new year, because in contrast with 2017 they will not allow us to enjoy long bridges in which to rest.

The year of short bridges

The short bridge will be the new holiday 2.0 and the first taste of the new calendar will arrive as early as January 1, a Monday, a week ending with the Epiphany on January 6, a Saturday. The Christmas holidays will be shortened and we will not have more red days on the calendar to exploit. But it does not end here, because if Easter falls on Sunday 1 April and consequently Easter Monday will be the following Monday, the sequel will be next Christmas: the "Immaculate 2018 will arrive on Saturday, the duet Christmas -Santo Stefano will break the week with a Tuesday and Wednesday. And traditionally 2018, the last of the year will be a Monday!

The other holidays

For the other holidays we are so fond of, we have: April 25th on a Tuesday, we could dare a long weekend! Then on May 1, a Wednesday, midfield. Republic Day? On Saturday 2 June, of course, we return to the short bridge. Mid-August, 15 August, will be on Wednesday, while All Saints on Thursday. In short, less joys than hoped for ... We just have to hope in the BONI intentions, here they are:
