A luxurious 400 million yacht

In August of this summer, the most extravagant megayacht in the world, 118 meters long and 18 wide, resembling a giant iron: half submarine and half spaceship landed in Capri. The owner of this luxurious yacht, which is called "A", is a very wealthy Russian businessman, the billionaire business-man Andrey Melnichenko, who wanted to dedicate the boat to his wife Alexandra Nikolic by imprinting the initial of his name, the "A".

Built in 2008 at the German shipyards of Blohm & Voss, the yacht was designed by the French architect Philippe Starck and appears to have cost 150 million euros. Today, however, its market value amounts to 400 million euros thanks to the innovations made and to the countless "extras" added to the interior. Among the oddities present on the yacht there are also several paintings by Monet and a tank of enormous size, which requires several thousand euros for each refueling. The masterpieces of the master Monet, however, do not represent the the only luxuries that “A” boasts: in its 118 square meters, there are also three swimming pools, a master suite, six guest suites, 42 bedrooms and bathrooms with taps worth 40 thousand euros each.
