Rome: the Film Fest is back

The eighth edition of the Rome International Film Festival is held from 8 to 17 November, hosted as always at the Auditorium Parco della Musica and directed by Marco Müller, former director of the Venice Film Festival.
Between the films in competition and the out-of-competition world premieres, Müller's influential presence feels like it has always been able to attract films of international standing. The intention that started the Festival, therefore, to offer a more popular billboard that could attract all kinds of spectators, is not betrayed.
Proof of this is the opening film, The last wheel of the wagon, a bittersweet comedy by Giovanni Veronesi with Elio Germano and Alessandra Mastronardi. One of the most announced previews is instead the second chapter of the Hunger Games saga, The fire girl, featuring Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence and an all-star cast that includes Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and even rock star Lenny Kravitz.
