The lines of the hand
Life line
It is one of the most important lines of the palm. It starts between the thumb and forefinger and goes towards the wrist. It translates the levels of vigor, energy, physical strength, performance and sturdiness.
Very clear side dishes: well-developed sexuality.
Weak curve: lack of energy and liveliness, decreasing libido.
Fine and precise line: good vitality, good will.
Wide line: muscle strength but febrile nervous system.
Head line
It is horizontal in the middle of the hand below the line of the heart and determines the proportions of logic and imagination of each.
Thin and deep: intelligence, vivacity of spirit.
Wide: superficiality, ambitions, materialism.
Destiny line
It is drawn vertically starting from the base of the hand, heading towards the mount of Saturn and dividing the palm in half. It represents the luck that you will have in life, your destiny.
Absent: denotes a person who will have to work hard to be successful.
Deep line: success but without satisfaction.
Start on the life line: the person will have to rely only on his own strength.
Start on the wrist: if it is well defined, it means luck for life and success.
Heart line
It is located horizontally in the upper part of the palm. It governs the emotional aspects and reveals the love potential, the relationship with the beloved and with those around us.
Absence of the line: total insensitivity.
Straight: the mind controls emotions.
Start below the index: love and jealousy.
Start below the middle: total sensuality, pleasure predominates.
Start under the ring finger: reduced affectivity.
Line of the sun (or of success)
It is parallel to the line of destiny. Many people don't own this line.
Starting from the wrist, up to the ring finger: luck and absolute success, an out of the ordinary destiny.
I start from the mount of Mars: perseverance and desire for success.
Start from the Mount of the Moon: artistic success.
I start from the head line: success comes by thinking.
I start from the life line: rely only on yourself.
I start from the heart line: late success.
Health line
If you don't have it, that's okay. It generally ends on the mount of Mercury, and usually starts at the wrist.
If it crosses the line of life generally indicates a long illness.
If it stops at the life line: anxiety, distress, attention to diet.
If it doesn't touch the life line: some minor ailments, but nothing serious.
Sex line
Located under the little finger on the side of the hand, only the deeper one needs to be considered, as there are often several. It is the line of marriage and sexuality.
Precise and straight: happy union.
Many lines not well defined: various unions without marriage.
Rising line: celibacy.
Line going down: divorce.
Clear bifurcation at the beginning: difficulties at the beginning of the union.
Bifurcation at the end: break up.
The mountains of the hand
- Venus: symbolizes motherhood, life. The Mount of Venus is located at the base of the thumb, between the line of life and the thumb itself. If it is well defined and fleshy, it is a sign of a desire for pleasure, of a permanent need for human contact (love, friendship, communication with others ...). If the mount of Venus is flat, the individual struggles to establish relationships with others, and does not have a great power of seduction.
- Mars: is the god of war. It symbolizes amorous ardor, demanding friendship, and also fanaticism, intolerance, cruelty ... Mount of Mars occupies two positions. The first mount of Mars (called positive) is located below the line of life, near the thumb. If it is well developed and hard, it means authority, will and courage (mind of the leader). The second mount of Mars (called negative), is located between the line of the heart and the line of the head, on the other side of the hand. If well developed and hard, the person who possesses it is not violent but his courage and ardor are intellectual.
- Jupiter: The mount of Jupiter is located under the index. If it is well developed, it is a sign of domination, power and command. The person lives in the present moment: he is impulsive and cannot bear to be contradicted. His loyalty is great, and his place at the top and not in the ranks. If the mount of Jupiter is non-existent, the person is shy, scared, does not assert himself and is afraid of contact with others.
- Saturn: is the god Chronos, symbol of time and construction. The mount of Saturn is located below the middle. If it is well defined, it indicates prudence or even distrust in relations with others. The person loves solitude, is serious in his work and studies. The absence of the mount of Saturn indicates a light nature, without consistency, frivolous.
- The sun: Mount of the Sun - or Mount of Apollo - is located under the ring finger. If it is well defined, it symbolizes glory and aesthetic gifts. The person has good taste in all fields, loves human contact and is generous. The absence of the Mount of the Sun implies little chance of being successful. The person prefers to obey rather than give orders.
- Mercury: god of intelligence, but also of commerce. The Mount of Mercury is located under the little finger. It should be studied exclusively taking into account the line of the head. If it is well developed and the head line is precise and long, this means lively intelligence, eloquence, adaptation, good relationships with others and good business skills.If the line of the head is not long and precise, the subject maintains the sense of trade but falls into the trap.
- The moon: it is the female archetype. The mount of the Moon is located at the base of the hand, on the opposite side with respect to the mount of Venus. If it is well defined, the imagination controls the action. The person loves change and travel, and does not respect conventions. If the Mount of the Moon is flat, it takes more care of the details and the practical side of things, to the point of making it an obsession.
