La Prairie expands the Marine Biology line

The collection, also reworked in terms of packaging, is aimed at both women and men and is formulated to be used both as soon as the first signs of aging begin to appear, and earlier. All products exploit the anti-oxidant properties of seaweed in combination with a high moisturizing function, which reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines while preserving the appearance of young skin.

A real ecological luxury, which combines the best technological innovations of the cosmetic world with environmental protection: the algae used in the products are in fact obtained through aquaculture, that is the scientifically controlled cultivation inside protected environments. Put simply, it means that natural resources are not depleted, but the quality of algae and marine organisms remains high.

Five then the products that make up the entire range, let's see them specifically:

- Foaming Mousse Cleanser: a delicate cleanser, which forms a natural foam thanks to a coconut derivative, which helps to remove make-up and smog from the skin;
- Revitalizing emulsion: a "multifunctional emulsion for face, neck and eye contour with moisturizing and anti-oxidant properties;
- EyeGel: a fresh and smoothing gel that minimizes the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles and helps reduce swelling. Contains buckwheat wax, channeled extract of seaweed, cafferina and green microalgae;
- DayCreamSPF20: launched in 2007, this is a light, rapidly absorbed cream that helps stimulate cell renewal, counteracting the appearance of fine lines by increasing the production of collagen;
- Tonic: a three-phase serum that infuses the epidermis with oxygen and stimulates skin microcirculation, giving a luminous and homogeneous complexion.

The range will be available from July.
