The time of apples

The film that led to the success of the very young Sophie Marceau, in the role of the very young Vic, struggling with her first loves, her first kisses and her first disappointments. Unforgettable the main song, "Reality" and the scene in which Mathieu makes it heard for the first time in Vic, only to end up dancing embraced of course. Your eyes will come to your heart just at the thought ...

The Blues Brothers

An unforgettable musical comedy, which tells the story of the Blues Brothers, two brothers (invented by the comic duo who play them, John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd) who sing in the blues group of the same name. Although at the box office it was not a huge success, it is now one of the most famous films of the 1980s. Unforgettable the interpretations of Think by Aretha Franklin, Shake A Tail Feather by Ray Charles and the ending with Everybody Needs Somebody To Love.

Indiana Jones (1981 - 1989)

Even if a new chapter came out in 2008 (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull), the classic trilogy is that of the '80s that glued children, adolescents and adults from all over the world to the screens, to discover the adventures of the most famous professor / archaeologist (played by Harrison Ford) in the world. Raiders of the Lost Ark first, then go through Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and finish with Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, is one of the most loved sagas ever.

E.T. - The extraterrestrial

"E.T., home phone". As soon as you hear about the film are the first lines that come to mind. A film that made us cry and hope to run into an extraterrestrial (no matter how ugly it was), which among other things featured a very young Drew Barrymore.

Sixteen Candles - A birthday to remember

One of the romantic comedies of the 80s that is practically impossible not to have seen. Teenager, sweet and dreamy, it is absolutely a must.

Ghostbusters

The combination of horror film (so to speak) and comedy can only count Ghostbusters as one of the best known. Funny, ironic, at times with some scarier scenes (again, so to speak), it is one of those films that aired very often. Impossible not to have seen it, even just by zapping.

The Gremlins

Three things you need to remember about gremlins: don't expose it to light, don't get it wet, don't feed it after midnight. Sounds simple right? You are very wrong. If you don't know what happens if you do any of these things, it's time for you to go buy the DVD and watch this hyper classic.

Footloose

A film that makes you want to dance and takes you directly to the 80s thanks to the music of the soundtrack. The protagonist is Kevin Bacon in the role of Ren McCormack who moves to a small town where rock music is banned, as well as the dance.Unmissable for the music and for the decidedly 80s atmosphere.

Karate Kid

There is also a sequel and a remake as well. But the original remains and will always remain the best ever. The most famous quote, that everyone (even if they haven't seen the movie) has heard at least once? "Give the wax, remove the wax"

Back to the Future

It wouldn't be a proper list if we didn't name him, Back to the Future. The film that made us, in order: come the eyes to the little heart for Michael J. Fox, dream of being able to travel in time, and crave to own a hoverboard. So famous that, from time to time, they do special screenings in the cinema. And not just for the various anniversaries.

Breakfast Club

Another classic, which tells the story of a group of high school students on a Saturday when they are forced to go to school as punishment, each for a different reason. Nice because every stereotype (typical of American schools, of course) is perfectly represented, from the super sportsman to the bully. To be seen!

The Goonies

The adventure par excellence. The one that all of us, as children, wanted to experience. Finding clues, solving puzzles, all to get to a hidden treasure, even better if in the bowels of the city we live in. You can always dream, right?

Beetlejuice

Directed by Tim Burton, the film tells the vicissitudes of two ghosts (Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin) who find themselves living together, in their New England house, with a couple of New Yorkers and hire him, Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), to "exorcise the living" and make them escape. In the film we also find a young Winona Ryder in the role of the daughter of the two New Yorkers. The final scene (and song) is unforgettable.

I will fantasize

Yes, it is an exception, but it would not be an adequate list without naming it. More than a film, it is a TV miniseries, which among other things was aired during the Christmas period. The story, briefly, tells of Fantaghirò, the rebellious princess who refuses to obey her father and ends up becoming an Amazon and a warrior. Although the special effects, revised now, are rather ridiculous, it is a series that has accompanied us year after year, Christmas after Christmas.
