Croque monsieur is one of the best-loved and best-known sandwiches. Rich in taste and crunchiness, they originated in the city of Paris during the early 1900s and are part of the French culinary tradition. Loved by young and old, they can be done at home in a few simple steps explained in the video and in the step by step steps. There are several variations of shapes. We cooked delicious and original Croque Monsier skewers. Here the recipe! If you want to surprise your friends for dinner, try a tasty and easy-to-make Croque Cake instead. But the most famous variation of the classic Croque Monsier with bechamel is the Croque Madame! It is no coincidence that Monsier in French means "Lord" and Madame "Lady". Croque Madame requires buckwheat crêpes stuffed with cheese, ham, cream and eggs. A tasty and savory second course perfect for a Sunday brunch! But let's go back to our Croque Monsieur. Tradition has it that eggs are added to every delicious sandwich and they are often accompanied by fries or salads. In France it is often eaten for lunch and is found in typical restaurants and is often cooked at home as well. If you don't particularly like béchamel you can not put it and put more grated cheese inside which will make the sandwich even more delicious on the palate! For a more rustic look you can use normal bread; the appearance will be more homemade. But for croque monsier as tradition dictates, strictly bread in a box; try to make it with the different variants of cereals, wholemeal and refined. It is served hot and accompanied by a bed of salad and delicious chips! You can serve it both as an aperitif or as an aperitif or as a main course for lunch just like in France. It must be consumed after cooking because waiting a few hours will compromise the taste and crunchiness of this tasty dish! Good taste!
