Also remember that it is a food product, therefore non-toxic and excellent for cleaning the kitchen, where food is prepared. Here's the recipe: mix two tablespoons of baking soda with two tablespoons of Marseille soap flakes, dissolving everything in two liters of hot water. Add 150ml of alcohol. Once the solution has blended, dip a microfiber cloth into it and wring well. These proportions are designed for marble surfaces, but by slightly adjusting the doses you can also use them on marble floors in the same way. Just add three liters of water instead of two and voilà, a solution is also ready for your marble floors.

Marble polishing technique with oil and linen

Not many people know it, but boiled linseed oil is a very suitable detergent for cleaning marble. It is easily found in herbalist's shops or in natural products stores. But beware: oil on marble is only good for restoring the stains caused from acids, therefore over the corrosion marks of the marble. Do not use it to polish or you risk causing stains on the marble yourself.
