The birth chart and domification: the twelve zodiacal sectors
The subdivision of the Zodiac into the 12 Houses (mansions or fields), called Constellations in astronomy and zodiac signs in astrology, is called by scholars domificazione, from Lat. medieval domificatio -onis, comp. of domus casa and of facĕre, fare, or division into houses of the celestial sphere, with circles drawn on it and connection of the stars to the fields obtained with different mathematical methods and different results. These houses indicate the path of the Sun and the stars for a whole 24-hour day. In fact, from the rotation of the Earth around its terrestrial axis, an apparent rotation was also deduced of the sky and therefore of the houses or zodiacal sectors.Within a horoscope we have two subdivisions: the horizon, a horizontal line, outlines the ascending-descending axis and the meridian, vertically, outlines the Medium Heaven or Medium Coeli, and the Fondo Cielo or Imum Coeli. The interpretation of astrologers to develop a horoscope takes into account the position of the planets, depending on whether they are in the area above the horizon or below it. The four quadrants are in turn divided into three sectors which include a total of twelve astrological houses, twelve just like the zodiac signs. The astrological houses are not counted clockwise, but counterclockwise. The first house begins with the Ascendant. The astrological houses can, as one approaches the poles, also include more zodiac signs. The first six are called personal houses, the last six impersonal. When the planets visit a house, they transit , give energy to its characteristics. Each astrological house is linked to the meaning of a zodiac sign. They can be empty or host multiple planets. A sector with multiple planets has greater relevance in the life of an individual. If it is occupied by at least three planets it is defined stellium, a position that affects the sign, reinforcing its particularities.

The twelve signs of the zodiac can also be distinguished according to their natural element: Fire, Earth, Air and Water. To each of them belong three zodiac signs. Each sign of the Zodiac has a specific symbol with its own meaning. To Fire belong: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius. In these signs, passion, exuberance, enthusiasm, willpower, the desire to emerge prevail. The astrological sign of Aries, ruled by Mars, is a warrior in life, combative, strong and even aggressive at times. The fields of the Zodiac. Personal houses: first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth houses
These sectors of the Zodiac, therefore, each with the name of a constellation, represent the various aspects of an individual's life and development. The point where each house begins is called the cusp. The first six houses are the personal ones, the other six are the interpersonal ones. The planets positioned in the Houses indicate their influence in that particular zodiac sector. The Houses each refer to a dimension of the real existence of an individual, the signs of the Zodiac reveal the tendencies of his personality So the signs refer to the nature of the individual and the Houses inform us about his earthly life. The astrological houses are the terrestrial sectors, the signs of the Zodiac and the celestial sectors. The Ascendant, that is the sign that rises to the east at the time and place of birth, is the cusp of the First House. It indicates the image we give to others of ourselves, the so-called "manifest personality", physical constitution, hereditary factors, character and ways of doing. If the first house occupies more than one sign, all of them will influence the personality. Our Ascendant, which regardless of the birth sign, outlines our personality, and the First House are derived from the time and place of birth. The descendant is the point of the Zodiac positioned to the West at the moment of birth and is the cusp of the 7th house; it's about our relationship with others and how we see them.
The Second House is about financial position, money, work, business, property, but also knowledge and emotions; it is associated with the sign of Taurus, closely linked to the idea of the need for money, and to the planet Venus. The Third House relates to contacts with others, to relations between brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, that is horizontal kinship, but also to studies, commerce, mass media, and everything in which a person's cultural and inner world is expressed. If the Sun or other important planets are positioned in this house it can indicate a propensity for study o for communication (journalism, television and cinema, public relations). The Sixth House, combined with Virgo and the planet Mercury, represents health, predisposition to disease, aesthetic care, unequal relationships with an employee or with an employer and also those with pets.
The impersonal houses: seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth houses
The Seventh House, associated with the zodiac sign of Libra and the planet Venus, represents marriage or cohabitation with one's partner, if it will be stable and lasting or if separations and divorces are foreseen, but it also concerns companies and business partners, associations and contracts, as well as legal issues and trials. The "Eighth House concerns personal death and that of relatives, inheritance issues, retirement, secret loves, sexuality, the break with one's birth environment and with normal life patterns, the ability to be reborn; it is associated to Scorpio and the planet Pluto. The Ninth House, associated with the zodiac sign of Sagittarius and the planet Jupiter, concerns the "far" both in the sense of travel to distant countries and relations with foreigners, with their customs and rituals, and in the more intellectual sense of search for the meaning of life. In fact, it is also the field of philosophy, religion, and therefore of an expansion of not only geographical but also cultural boundaries. The Tenth House, associated with Capricorn and the planet Saturn, is relating to destiny, ambition, personal success at work, career, as well as the ease or difficulty of achieving "excellent social and professional success. The difficulties or advantages depend on the planets that occupy this house and their positive or negative aspects. Having the Sun in this house indicates social and professional ascent to very important roles. It also refers to the relationship with the mother. The cusp of the 10th house coincides with the Midheaven, or the position of the Sun at Zenith, on the day of birth. The Eleventh House is about the company of friends, the right way to give and receive friendship, ideals, affinities, hopes, projects, social relationships, protection and help from very important people; it is associated with the sign of Aquarius and the planet Uranus. The Twelfth House represents the unconscious, the personal secret life; it is the home of old age, of hospitals, of the trials to which the individual will be subjected in his life, such as long illnesses, loneliness, hospitals, prisons, the way in which he will conclude his stay on Earth and all that is mystery concealed; it is associated with the sign of Pisces and the planet Neptune.

6th house: the field of dependent work, health; indicates attitudes in sport, in the profession to be chosen and love for animals.
VII house: The house of ties, of marriage, of political parties, of work associations, the field of fashion and beauty.
VIII house: the house of the occult, of death, of inheritances, of sex. And also the ability to recover, to transform, the ability to rebuild.
IX house: the sector of intellectuality, open mental horizons, spirituality, long journeys and interest in other ethnic groups.
X house: it concerns destiny, professional career and ambitions. It is also indicative of the relationship with the mother.
XI house: it relates to the way of understanding friendships, important relationships and affintià. This is also the home of projects and hopes.
XII house: represents the unconscious sphere and all the personal secret life of each of us. It is associated with older age and brings solutidine and meditation with it.
