14 super simple tricks to have perfect nails

1 - A manicure that is too deep

If you can safely proceed alone with regards to the shape and length of your nails, for deeper maintenance, such as removing cuticles, it would be better to rely on a beautician to avoid the risk of inflammation and infections.

2 - The use of inappropriate tools

File and scissors must be chosen carefully and always disinfected after use. The former must be made of cardboard (the metallic ones are absolutely deleterious) and have a very fine grain, the latter strictly with a rounded tip, in order to follow the "wave of the nail" in a natural way.

3 - Don't let them breathe

Everyone likes to always have perfectly lacquered hands, but it is good not to overdo it so as not to weaken the nails too much. Between one nail polish change and the next, let your nails "rest", leaving them natural for at least 24 hours.

4 - The aggressive glazes

How to recognize them? If you find Formaldehyde, Toluene, Camphor and Dibutyl Phtatalate in the INCI nail polish list, throw that bottle away.

5 - Nervous tics

Anxiety devours you and do you do the same with your nails? Stop it now! Both because aesthetically your hands will become a bad business card that will not go unnoticed, and because you have ever thought about how many bacteria and dirt you introduce into your mouth while you gnaw them?

6 - Abusing acetone

Nail polish remover solvents are among the most aggressive products as they need the right corrosive power to eliminate the surface lacquer layer. Try not to use them too often because they can irreparably damage the nails and still prefer organic and very delicate solvents, which remove the nail polish without doing too much damage.

7 - Washing the dishes and cleaning without gloves

Even housework jeopardizes the health and beauty of our nails, both due to the use of detergents and often aggressive products, and the risk of breakage. Wear gloves and you will be more protected.
