Dip-dyed wedding dresses: the trend that colors 2017 weddings!
Wedding dresses have not always been white: during the Middle Ages, in fact, future wives used to wear brightly colored dresses and precious materials. Velvet, silk and even furs were the favorites.
The white dress became popular after 1840, when Queen Victoria married Albert of Saxony. Their wedding was photographed and the whole world saw Victoria wearing a white dress, embellished with lace: they all fell in love with it. delicate and immaculate air that he gave her, and that every future bride should have had.
Since then, the wedding hairstyles, the table decorations and the veils have changed, but one thing has remained unchanged: the wedding dress is white.
At least until today.
