- Regularly dust your wood paneling with a soft cloth.

- If the wood is sticky to the touch, clean it with a woolen cloth soaked in solvent or white spirit.

- Avoid silicone-based products.

Remove stains

- Most stains disappear by rubbing the wood with a cloth soaked in white spirit. You will then need to apply wood wax to the cleaned surface.

- Water, alcohol or grease stains can be erased with a cork.

Painted wood

To clean

-Dust your wood paneling regularly with a soft, clean cloth (preferably wool).

- To thoroughly clean the wood, use a cloth soaked in degreasing compound (you can find it in the home products department of supermarkets or do-it-yourself shops), oil and white spirit.

- Once cleaned, polish the wood with a chamois cloth.

Remove stains

- For greasy stains, scrub the wood with iced tea and then polish it well.

- Beware of alcohol stains, they often dissolve the wood varnish! If you drop a few drops of alcohol on the dresser, remove it immediately with the paper towel, wipe the sandpaper and apply a new coat of varnish.

Lacquered wood

To clean

Dust the wood regularly with a damp cloth and then immediately dry it with a soft cloth, preferably cotton.

Remove stains

Use a soft cloth soaked in equal parts linseed oil, white spirit, and flour.

Painted wood

To clean

- Use a sponge soaked in warm soapy water, without wetting the wood too much.

- Always wash the painted wood starting from the bottom, instead rinse and dry it starting from the top.

- Painted wood will regain all its splendor if it is polished with a rag soaked in a few drops of linseed oil.

Remove stains

Never scratch the stains! Simply use a sponge soaked in soapy water and scrub gently. If needed, repaint the surface.
