Bullying is one of the hottest plagues of recent years and it can also be triggered by small defects, peculiarities, diversities that cause embarrassment, derision up to, at times, real denigrating and violent acts.
Also to combat this type of possible future discrimination, a couple of parents made a truly singular choice, which denotes the deep love for a child, very normal, but with a distinctive feature: a big red birthmark along the whole leg, which definitely makes her unique and special, but which risks making her feel different from others.
What to do then?
Tanya and Adam, the two English parents in question, certainly did not lose heart and made a truly anomalous, but significant decision: to tattoo the same desire as their baby in the exact same spot, that is, along the entire right leg. A courageous choice, and also very painful, but perhaps also dutiful and appropriate.
The little Honey-Rae, in fact, when she saw the tattoos of mom and dad did not hesitate a moment and commented, pointing to her leg: "it's the same!". And just then Tanya and Adam realized they had done the right thing.
"L" we did it to make Honey-Rae feel special, to make her understand that her desire is something to be proud of, not something to hide "Mom Tanya explained to the Daily Mirror. "Someone will think that what we have done is exaggerated but, from our point of view, it will never make her feel different. Mom and Dad will have the same permanent signs as her."
