Violence against women: when even Disney Princesses are victims

What would happen if it were discovered that the perfect couples protagonists of the fairy tales and of the various "happily ever after" with which we grew up, hide a dark side? What if Cinderella and Snow White lived alongside a violent man, far from the cliché of prince charming? The Italian artist AleXsandro Palombo tried to hypothesize that at the center of dramatic events of marital violence there are not ordinary women, as unfortunately we are forced to hear every day, but the heroines of the most beloved fairy tales and cartoons of all time. alternative and original to raise public awareness on a delicate and difficult issue such as violence against women, unfortunately increasingly topical.

The images of the protagonists of the Disney cartoons and fairy tales that have always made us dream, appear with wounds, cuts, black eyes and bruises due to the violent reactions of their respective companions. In the background the words Stop! and "Stop the violence against women!". An "initiative born with the aim of raising awareness and bringing to everyone's attention, through a method and a different language than usual, an urgent question that unfortunately represents a real scourge of modern society.
