Cheating is never a good idea for several reasons: the first is that starting may mean not quitting; the second is that, after having undermined trust with such brutality, it is not easy to revive the relationship which, with an ongoing betrayal, is clearly in crisis; the third is that not everyone is willing to forgive a betrayal and the fourth is that not everyone is able to hide it. The research on betrayal
The study done in America is called Your Cheatin "Voice Will Tell on You: Detection of Past Infidelity from Voice" What are we talking about? A research that, in practice, investigates the possibility of recognizing a person who has betrayed only by his voice, without taking into account the meaning of the words he actually pronounces.
For the study, two American psychologists, Hughes and Harrison, involved 152 heterosexual students between the ages of 18 and 32. Participants were asked to listen carefully to recordings in which other people spoke simply enunciating the numbers from 1 to 10 (therefore without specific speeches of any kind), trying to guess if the voice they heard was from a traitor or a faithful person. . Of the men and women involved and recorded, therefore the voices examined, half had declared that they had betrayed, while the rest had claimed to have always been faithful.

The results of the experiments on the voice
Participants were able to recognize those who had betrayed only by the tone of their voice, with surprising accuracy. What does that mean then? The criteria according to which the listener was able to affirm the infidelity of the voice in the recording are not yet clear, but it seems that there must be a common thread that will lead to deepen the research.
