Apple pie, Grandma Duck's favorite
The combination of apples, lemon zest and spices such as cinnamon and cloves often make one think of grandmothers, when in the kitchen they began to peel and cut apples, then knead and roll out, until they transform simple ingredients into an ideal cake to eat with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a spoonful of sour cream.

Ingrediants
for pasta
400gr flour
200g butter
200g sugar
2 eggs
for the stuffing
grated zest of ½ lemon
1kg of apples
cloves
cinnamon
a pinch of salt

Peel and cut the apples into wedges, put them in a saucepan with two tablespoons of water, lemon zest, 2 tablespoons of sugar, cinnamon and 2 cloves. Cook for 10 minutes, drain and let them cool a bit.<br>Grease and flour a Ø22cm pan.<br>Put the flour on a pastry board, add the sugar, salt and soft butter and mix as much as possible. Arrange the amalgam of ingredients in a fountain, break the eggs in the center and knead. Leave to rest for a few minutes in the refrigerator.<br>Roll out the dough to a thickness of ½cm and cut out a disk large enough to line the pan. Pour in the cooked apples and, with the rest of the dough, create a disc to cover them. Tuck in slightly and close with the edges along the entire pan.<br>Sprinkle with two spoonfuls of sugar and bake at 180 ° C, for 45 °, or in any case until the pasta is cooked and lightly golden.
