The Cube by Electrolux in Milan

But have you ever thought about the possibility of a restaurant created with the same philosophy?

Electrolux, a global leader in the field of household appliances and professional use equipment, not only thought of it but created it.

In fact, the "TheCube" project was presented on 19 December: a 140 m2 crystal cube created exclusively by ParkAssociati, the Milanese design studio founded eleven years ago by FilippoPagliani and MicheleRossi, which can be disassembled and reassembled once in a while.

Thus was born a dining concept of "ambulant restaurant" which, thanks to the collaboration between Electrolux and the "JRE Association (JeunesRestaurateursd" Europe), also becomes an "opportunity to bring the exponents of young but haute cuisine under the eyes of the general public. A mix that transforms a simple dinner in a multi-sensory event in which it is possible not only to taste gourmet delicacies, but also to enjoy a dream view of the city and be enchanted by observing the skilled hands of the chef in the creation of real edible works of art.

There will be nine teams of Chefstellati who will alternate in The Cube:

Christian & Manuel Costardi - Da Christian and Manuel Restaurant, Verceli: from 19-25 December 2011 and from 23 January to 5 February 2012.

Marco & Vittorio Colleoni - San Martino Restaurant, Treviglio: from 26 December 2011 to 8 January 2012.

Andrea Sarri - Agrodolce Restaurant, Imperia: from 9 January to 22 January 2012.

Ciccio Sultano - Il Duomo Restaurant, Ragusa: from 6 February to 19 February 2012.

Alessandro Breda - Gellius Restaurant, Oderzo: from 20 February to 4 March 2012.

Enrico and Roberto Cerea - Da Vittorio Restaurant, Bergamo: from 5 March to 18 March 2012.

Emanuele Scarello - Agli Amici Restaurant. Godia (UD): from March 19th to April 1st 2012.

Tommaso Arrigoni and Eros Picco - Innocenti Evasioni, Milan: from 2 April to 15 April 2012.

Nicola Portinari - La Peca Restaurant. Vicenza: from April 16 to April 26 2012.

The space welcomes, in an "intimate and exclusive atmosphere, only 18 guests, around a single retractable table and with the open kitchen that allows you to live a truly unique" experience.

The restaurant is open every day, but is only available to the public on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
