"This is the body of a woman 24 hours after giving birth"

According to Erica Andrews, motherhood is not a taboo, on the contrary, one must be proud of having generated life: this is why she has chosen to share her experience with thousands of Internet users on Instagram. Erica would get along with Julie Bhosale, creator of the My Real Post Partum Body project: the woman, in fact, withdrew without frills 24 hours after giving birth to her 5th child.

"This is the body of a woman 24 hours after giving birth. The baby is in a scarf, skin to skin. My body seems to have just run a marathon and my heart is open wide. A birth passes through us like an earthquake and, seen the "intimacy of this" meeting, I am still fragile, almost full of cracks. I am very emotional. I am different. I have the sensation of floating on the ocean and being lulled by the waves of happiness, melancholy and sadness.
25h ago I was carrying life in me and now I have a life in my arms. My empty uterus brings me back to reality abruptly but, in this moment, the new little life seeks me, cries, is hungry and is a concentrate of sweetness: I feel full again. I am still realizing what will happen in my family from today and I am really surprised by the strength that we human beings, we women, we mothers have.
This moment is different from all the others ".
