Mother's Day: What do moms dream about for their special day?

May 11 is Mother's Day and, as usual, the desperate hunt for a gift has already begun (possibly right). Not an easy undertaking, especially considering how mothers have changed.

Today women with dependent families are forced, by force of circumstances, to become multitasking and to reduce their space, paying for everything in terms of stress. It is therefore no coincidence that a recent study by Polli Cooking Lab found that the classic combination of chocolates and bunches of flowers has now gone out of fashion. The same goes for perfumery products and letters, albeit sweet and cute.

Over 6 out of 10 Italian mothers (therefore a good 62%) would simply like to receive more attention, especially at the table. In fact, it seems that 34% of mothers feel misunderstood, 26% undervalued and 22% tired of routine.

So the right tip to celebrate mum properly is this: 55% of mothers would really like someone to cook for them, 48% more free time and 36% a surprise or an unexpected gift from their husband.
