Rome is transformed into a capital of solidarity thanks to Race for the Cure
Breast cancer is a disease that affects many women without distinction and more and more initiatives are aimed at raising public awareness on the issue of prevention.
Among the numerous events there is Race for the Cure, the symbolic event of Susan G. Komen Italia, which returns to Rome for the fifteenth edition. The 5-kilometer race, which will start on Sunday 18 May from the Circus Maximus, is an event open to all who want to combine sport, fun, emotions and social commitment.

<p>During the event there will be the "Women in Pink", women who have struggled or are facing breast cancer and want to demonstrate a positive attitude with which they live this phase of their life, making themselves visible by wearing a pink t-shirt and hat.<br><br>Godmother of the event is the actress Maria Grazia Cucinotta, while the testimonial of the "Women in Pink" is the actress Rosanna Banfi.<br><br>The Race for the Cure is just one of the many initiatives that will take place during the three days dedicated to the theme.
