When Maria Corry posted a photo of her on Facebook she had no idea that this would be reported 5 times because it was considered "annoying" by users.

The woman, originally from Florida, didn't want to raise a fuss: "I'm not an "exhibitionist but because of all those who denigrate breastfeeding women I decided to post it", he wrote in the caption accompanying the photo.

Maria's breast is covered by the baby and therefore this photo has absolutely nothing scandalous especially because we are used to being surrounded by other types of images. The photo was deleted but the reaction was not long in coming.

Breastfeeding is natural, that's what breasts are for. In the US this is still taboo and I am tired of this inconsistency, I can't believe my photo has been criticized so heavily but still ... your messages of support have been fundamental. Thanks".
