The result of this unique workout is a varied and enjoyable training program conceived in September 2009 by Viveca Jensen from Sweden. Viveca Jonsen is a dancer from Stockholm, who also studied Joseph Pilates and was herself a Pilates instructor and, look a bit, she was also a boxing trainer and body builder. Three different but not at all conflicting interests as Jensen managed to mix them perfectly in this activity!
Viveca probably just wanted to spice up her daily training sessions and had no idea of ​​the success in terms of followers and followers that Piloxing would achieve in just a few months.
The starting point is undoubtedly pilates, to which for Jensen she added a little aggression and energy with a few boxing shots and a little more movement with specific dance steps. Think that this discipline is aerobic but it is also practiced with weights. It is truly a varied and versatile training session that will appeal to those who are easily bored of mechanically repeating the usual fitness exercises to keep fit.
