An exhibition celebrates the legendary photos of the Pirelli calendar. Look at the most beautiful!
The Pirelli calendar, simply The Cal for amateurs, is one of those myths of the "image and communication that has accompanied us for more than fifty" years. Its mix of exclusivity (only a few numbered copies for each year), of engagements for excellent photographers and divas who become models for the occasion, has made it an indisputable object of desire, from many points of view.
Today in Milan the myth of the calendar is celebrated with an exhibition at Palazzo Reale: Form and desire. The Cal - Pirelli Collection, from 21 November next to 22 February 2015. Over 200 photographs by the author, in color and black and white, which portray the beautiful women who have fueled the myth: Monica Bellucci, Laetitia Casta, Sophia Loren, Carré Otis, and many others , celebrated by the art of Richard Avedon, Herb Ritts, Helmut Newton, Mario Testino, Peter Lindbergh.
