Green clay mask: how to make it at home and take advantage of its benefits

Just combine powdered green clay in a bowl with lukewarm water until you get a homogeneous mixture. To enhance the benefits of the mask, you can add amla powder or nettle powder.

It brightens the complexion and purifies, gives light to the hair, prevents hair loss and fights dandruff. Nettle powder, on the other hand, is ideal for fortifying hair.

10 recipes for green clay masks

1. BASIC MASK
1 glass of green clay
1 tablespoon of honey
1 teaspoon of sweet almond oil (or alternatively EVO oil)
1/2 glass of water

In a cup containing mineral water, dissolve the honey, add the oil, homogenize everything, then gradually add 1 glass of clay, continue stirring vigorously until you obtain a smooth and shiny cream.

2. MASK FOR NORMAL SKIN
Add half a teaspoon of wheat germ oil to the base mask and mix everything together.
If you like, you can add 1 to 3 drops of lavender essential oil.
Keep on for 10 minutes.

3. MASK FOR DRY SKIN
To the basic mask add 2 tablespoons of mallow leaf infusion, a few drops of borage oil and mix everything.
If you like, you can add 1 to 3 drops of sandalwood essential oil.
Keep on for 5 minutes.

4. MASK FOR OILY SKIN
Add 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon or grapefruit juice to the basic green clay mask and mix. Add 1 to 3 drops of lemon essential oil to taste.
Hold for 10 minutes.

5. REINFORCING HAIR MASK
To the base mask add 4 tablespoons of horsetail infusion and mix everything. If you like, you can add 1 to 3 drops of geranium essential oil.
Hold for 10 minutes.
Apply the mask to wet hair, making sure that the clay soaks both hair and scalp well: then cover with a cap. After 10 minutes, rinse with hot water and shampoo if desired.

6. BREAST MASK
To the basic mask add 2 tablespoons of infusion of sage leaves or rose petals and mix everything.
If you like, you can add 1 to 3 drops of rose essential oil.
Application time from 10 to 20 minutes.

7. FIRMING MASK FOR THE BUTTOCKS
To the basic green clay mask add 2 tablespoons of fresh apple juice, 1 teaspoon of grapeseed oil and mix everything.
If you like, you can add 1 to 3 drops of rosemary essential oil.
Application time from 10 to 20 minutes.

8. DEFLATING BELLY MASK
To the base mask add 2 tablespoons of castor oil and mixture.
If you like, you can add 1 to 3 drops of anise essential oil or fennel essential oil.

9. RELAXING BACK MASK
To the basic mask add 2 tablespoons of infusion of arnica flowers and leaves, then mix.
