Bold mix of cuts and fabrics: Marni launches a collection of evening dresses
A mix of fabrics and unusual cuts for a collection of evening dresses: this is the 2015 Evening collection by Marni, one of the most experimental and refined Italian brands, which will be on sale in single-brand stores starting next November.
Long chiffon dresses under taffeta parkas, dresses with masculine lines associated with fox stoles, lines and cuts that recall a classic elegance mixed with elements of sports fashion: this is the direction that designer Consuelo Castiglioni has taken for a while "in creating its collections, and which returns in this collection of evening dresses. Marni presents a refined and in its own way extreme collection, with crooked tunics, dresses and neoprene tops embellished with handmade embroideries, where opposing materials such as raffia and the mink.

Marni's proverbial eccentricity is also in the choice of colors and patterns: expressionist floral embroideries and the predominance of midnight blue, in a series of chromatic contrasts that combine creativity and severity.
