Lizzo VS body-shaming: her answer is a standing-ovation

100% that bitch, extravagant, energetic, casual, we are talking about the one and only Lizzo, a real time bomb. After climbing the world charts with hits such as "Juice" and "Truth Hurts", the singer with the magic flute (the instrument she usually plays on stage) has gained increasing popularity in every corner of the globe and this is not due solely and exclusively to his singing skills. Lizzo is a true champion of body-positive, she loves herself in all her curves and does not hesitate to show it through photos and videos posted on Instagram in which she poses like a true diva and leaves little room for imagination.

The haters are never lacking

However, haters are like parsley and, you know, they always find a way to vent their frustration on those who have made it, even when it comes to a flawless icon like Lizzo. The singer, in fact, has been repeatedly subjected to heavy insults because of her body.On the other hand, she who is a really tough little girl certainly does not get hurt by these attacks and her responses are so sharp that the last one who tried to offend her is still healing his wounds. Well yes, because, although Lizzo lets everything slip on him, now he says he is tired of suffering in silence and has decided to face his haters one by one, putting them in front of the senselessness and uselessness of their interventions.

Lizzo's exceptional response in full body-positive spirit

In the last few hours, the girl has responded to a comment left by a user under a video of Tik-Tok. The man, addressing a couple made up of father and son, writes as follows: "Your son really needs to exercise, otherwise he risks becoming the next Lizzo." But Lizzo, feeling drawn into question, does not fit in and with nonchalance "destroys" the offensive aims of the hater in no time: "Oh, you mean the next million dollar deal, a Vogue cover, 3 Grammy Awards, an icon, actress, activist, with a perfect backside?".

Well, what can I say, she certainly does not lack self-esteem and how to blame her ?! She is a beautiful and successful woman, who has worked so hard before reaching the top, driven only by her strength and her undeniable talent. A committed woman, who struggles every day to give a voice to those who do not have a voice and in her texts she addresses, among others, serious topics such as sexuality, racial discrimination and the relationship with her body. So, if you are compared to her, it can only be a compliment and Lizzo herself is convinced of this too.

Being compared to her is a compliment

In fact, it is not the first time that her name has been mentioned on Tik-Tok in derogatory comments designed to offend women's bodies and her reaction is, once again, a standing-ovation: "And to the people who always put my name in the comments, THANK YOU!", then concludes, “If every time you see a chubby girl on this app, who loves herself and loves her body, you think about me or think she looks like me, is that a thing? Compliment!".

He also has one for health champions

But that's not all because Lizzo has one for everyone and she has too many pebbles to remove from her shoes. The singer also addresses the champions of health, those who accuse her of promoting a wrong and unhealthy body model and replies to them by stating that: "Health is not determined solely by how it looks on the outside. Health is also what happens inside and many of you need to do a f ***** cleaning inside yourself ".
