Lady Gaga's love message for Italy

Yesterday was the video posted on Tiziano Ferro's Instagram page in which a visibly shaken and moved Lady Gaga sends all her love to Italy. We remember, in fact, that Lady Germanotta has Italian origins (just like her friend-enemy Madame Ciccone!). More precisely, we can place her origin in Naso, a city in the province of Messina. It is from there that her grandfather leaves for the United States of America to chase the “American dream.” That same dream, then, became reality thanks to the niece, who still feels a strong bond with the beautiful country.

The video message for Italy

Here are his sweet words for Italy, one of the nations most affected by the Coronavirus:

"I am very sorry for all the people who are suffering in Italy today", thus begins the tear-jerking video of the singer, who cannot hold back her tears, “I'm not sure what to say, apart from that I love you. I love you I love you. You are in my prayers. I know that many people are scared and that many elderly people are locked in at the moment. I have relatives in Sicily, I promise you that everything will be fine, you will overcome everything. […] We have to stick together and be kind. I am sending you all my love and prayers. You know, some friends of mine say that when things get tough, that's when God is closest to you in trouble. I hope that anyone in Italy will feel the embrace of something divine, like the wings of an angel around the beautiful boot ".

All Lady Gaga's commitment against the Coronavirus

But Lady Gaga's commitment does not stop only with words. We remember, in fact, that it was the pop-star who organized the virtual concert "One World Together at Home", during which artists of the caliber of Rolling Stones, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Jlo and the very Italian Zucchero and Andrea Bocelli. Thanks to this streaming event, 130 million dollars were raised to be donated, in part, to the World Health Organization, in part to finance the non-profit organizations deployed in the field during this health emergency. During the concert, some Italian doctors also intervened who were able to witness firsthand the critical condition in which Italian hospitals find themselves in the incessant fight against COVID-19.

Lady Gaga, we Italians are waiting for you and we very much hope that you will be able to delight us again with your music in our stadiums!
