Love changes everything, even the taste!

When we fall in love we see everything with different eyes, everything seems more beautiful and intense. And it's not just a feeling: a recent study carried out by researcher Kai Qin Chan, at Radboud University Nijmegen, in the Netherlands, showed that being in love can also change the taste of food and make everything look better, if not sweeter. !

The research method used to reach these results is singular: the researchers asked some students to taste first a series of sweets and candies with various flavors and different degrees of sweetness and then a new drink not yet proposed on the market, in simple reality water. During the experiment, the boys were asked to write their own personal experience in love, an "experience of jealousy or a neutral experience of their choice.The result showed how the participants in the experiment who reported pleasant moments judged the candies, including the sweet and sour ones, as more sugary and the water as "very sweet" compared to those who had chosen to tell a neutral or jealous moment.
