Interview / Raffaella Fico: "I sing thanks to my love Gianluca and soon I'll marry him!"

You will certainly remember Raffaella Fico's concert, canceled due to lack of public a few months ago. It was a real case of the web, which between irony and sarcasm gave way to a series of interventions by the internet people on the pop star career of the former gieffina. Yet, the Neapolitan showgirl did not lose heart and promises that she will return in the spring to try her way as a singer.

Italian gossip princess, now she dreams of becoming a pop star on an intentional level. The showgirl flies very high, but there are those who bet a lot on her: first of all her producers Max Moroldo and Gianluca Tozzi, her boyfriend. make her happy, but in reality the son of Umberto Tozzi is seriously convinced of the talent of his better half and is ready to celebrate the imminent success with some beautiful orange flowers.

We met you thanks to the TV: do you plan to come back soon or have you been totally enraptured by the music?
I love the world of entertainment and the small screen continues to attract me, but maybe I would go back to host a musical program.

Have you always enjoyed singing?
"ÌI have always loved to sing, only before I did not find enough serious and professional people who could fulfill my dream, so I left it in the drawer. Then one day I was in the car with Gianluca, he heard me singing There is not by Laura Pausini and proposed to me to make an album with him. I thought he was joking, but in reality he was very serious! The other producer (Max Moroldo) had some doubts, he was a bit skeptical, but as soon as I found myself in front of a microphone he changed his mind and here we are.

You said that "Rush", your album, is very autobiographical. In what sense?
I told my life, my emotions and my feelings to the authors, who put everything into the songs. Rush, for example, talks about my experience in the world of entertainment, the road that led me to success and the people I met. I have experienced firsthand what it means to make mistakes, to trust someone who you think is correct and then turns out to be the opposite. Other songs instead offer youthful insights, in which I can only find myself.

What are your favorite singers?
Beyoncé and Rihanna.

What do you answer to the evil ones who claim that you are not singing?
That they are very wrong. The beauty is that I also demonstrated it by posting a video of me singing live on YouTube. I have studied and continue to do so, because I want to continue doing this job. My name penalizes me, but I have shown that I can manage. Rush it's a great product, but if my name hadn't been there, maybe it would have been even more successful and in less time.

What does your father-in-law Umberto Tozzi say? Did he listen to you?
I was very nervous when Umberto heard my audition. In the end, however, he liked it: he even told me that, at first glance, I looked like an international singer! He is a person of few words, but he gave me his good luck and told me to be careful, because he knew that with my background I would be at a disadvantage.

And does your little Pia like having a singing mom?
Yes, as soon as he sees my video clips he starts dancing in front of the TV!

Now you and Gianluca are very busy at work, but are you carving out some time to organize your wedding? "
The idea is to do it, but at the moment we have not yet been able to set a precise date. Soche in the newspapers there are a few, but they are all false. When there is the right one, we will tell you!
