Breast cancer: first-hand experiences

Breast cancer is the cancer that unfortunately most affects women and the bad news is that it would be on the rise among the under 40s. Just recently, prof. Borriello, director of the Plastic Surgery Operating Unit at the Pellegrini hospital in Naples, raised the alarm: "More and more young women affected by breast cancer are forced to resort to mastectomy".

Despite the mortality associated with this disease is constantly decreasing, thanks to advances in treatment, the incidence rates of the disease would be constantly growing.

Prevention and early diagnosis remain the tools that we women have at our disposal to better win this war and sharing information with those who have gone through this experience can help and support those who are experiencing it.
