How to make Francis' first Christmas special

Very often we mothers worry so much about our "duties" that we often end up reducing the time to devote to "pleasure". Here ... when I realize that duties are taking over, I put everything aside and I lie down on the carpet next to my son and I start playing with him.

They are beautiful moments, as precious to me as gold: I love having fun together, seeing him make new discoveries and observing his little eyes full of amazement. And you can't even imagine my happiness now that her first Christmas is coming. I must say that I am a mother who loves to spoil him a little with lots of games and lots of love, especially on special occasions.

Francesco loves sound and super colorful games, he spends a lot of time there and sometimes seeing him having fun and dancing to the melodies of those games makes me die of laughter. She loves soft dice and a padded rug. Since he is too young to write a letter to Santa, his dad and I are having fun writing it for him! Among the many games we have found one that I think he will like a lot, especially when he starts to take his first steps: it is the detective dog Chicco. It is a pusher in the shape of a hound dog on the hunt for its treasure! It is played by hiding the Detective Dog's bone: to find it, the child must push the hound dog in search of the bone. The nice thing is that during the search the puppy's lights change color and it sounds as it gets closer to the bone: if the light is red you are far away, yellow you are almost there, green you are close !!!
Knowing Francesco, she will go crazy just to see the lights, but I'm sure that with her first steps she will become a faithful play friend of hers.

Another Chicco game that I included in the letter to Santa Claus is Sam the Mole: full of lights, sounds and colorful shapes, you will surely like it! The game consists of fitting all the molds into place: at that point the mole and the molds jump together! Then there are big buttons with letters and numbers to press to listen to different songs!

This game reminds me so much of one of mine and after all I think that the beauty of lying on the carpet with Francesco is also this: to be a child again with him and for him, even more so at Christmas!
